If you don’t want to show all the recent posts on your WordPress front page, you can add this code to the functions.php file to restrict recent posts shown, based on a specific category.
Fix WordPress 404 errors
If your WordPress site is showing 404 error pages, you can fix this by simply navigating to Settings > Permalinks and just click ‘Save Changes’. Just by saving, the links/rewrite rules are rebuilt and the pages appear as normal.
